Welcome to Illinois Sheriffs’ Association

The Illinois Sheriffs’ Association, a non-profit organization supported entirely by contributions, was founded in 1928. Originally, its purpose was to create better communication and cooperation between sheriffs and encourage more professional training and growth.

Over the years, the ISA has expanded its goals and objectives to include training and development for sheriffs and their support teams. The Association also realized that today’s youth hold the key to society’s future. So the ISA decided to encourage youth by supporting and creating various youth-oriented programs.  Through the monetary support of its various membership dues and contributions, the ISA continues to maintain, create and expand training, youth and membership programs.

The 2010- 2011 ISA Scholarship applications are now available click here to download an application.
